Ashworth has cut and laid stone in the Cotswolds since 1968. The tools have barely changed, and neither has the standard: match the stone, respect the building, and leave work that will still be standing long after we've gone.

Before you get in touch

What areas do you cover?

We work across the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire, including Cirencester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Tetbury and Bath. If your project is a little further afield, ask us.

Do you work on listed and historic buildings?

Yes. A large part of our work is conservation of listed and period buildings, using lime mortars and matched stone, and we liaise with conservation officers where needed.

How do you price a job?

We visit, look at the stone and the access, and give a written quotation. Conservation work is priced on what the fabric actually needs, not a fixed rate per metre.

How far ahead are you booked?

It varies with the season. Smaller repairs can often be fitted in within a few weeks; larger conservation projects are planned months ahead. Call us and we will be straight with you.
