Rebuilt dry-stone boundary wall
Slad Valley, near Stroud, Gloucestershire · Completed 2024

Around eighty metres of collapsed roadside boundary wall, rebuilt in the traditional dry-stone method using the original stone reclaimed from the fall. We re-set the foundations, built up the double-skin wall with through-stones, and finished with a combed coping. No mortar, so it will move with the bank and can be repaired stone by stone.

This was a hardscaping project. Read more about our hardscaping & garden stone work.
